Out West masculine birthday card

Birthday cards for men is something that I sometimes struggle with. I like using ribbon on cards and that's just not "manly". But when I discovered the Out West stamp set I knew it was something that could be used for masculine cards!! I've paired Out West with the Woodgrain background stamp for this card.

Stamps: Out West (wood mount and clear mount), Curly Cute (wood mount and clear mount), Woodgrain background stamp

Ink: Soft Suede stamp pad, Cherry Cobbler stamp pad

Paper: Soft Suede card stock, Very Vanilla card stock, Cherry Cobbler card stock

Other: 1" Square punch, Paper Snips, Baker's Twine, Stampin' Dimensionals

You're a Star Happy Birthday card

Here's another card using a stamp set that called my name when I first saw it in the catalog. I loved the distressed look to it and the wings. But after I got the stamp set, I didn't know what to do with it. Finally I played around enough and viola!

Stamps: Star Power (Close to my Heart), Curly Cute (inside sentiment) (clear mount and wood mount)

Ink: Crumb Cake Stamp Pad, Soft Suede Stamp Pad, Cajun Crazy Stamp Pad

Paper: Fusion paper pack (The Paper Studio), Soft Suede cardstock, Crumb Cake cardstock

Other: Stampin' Dimensional, Paper Snips

I love how the heart with wings turned out! Definitely something that could be done on a scrapbook page.

Curly Cute Happy Birthday

Happy Friday Everyone!!
It is day 5 of my birthday week. Tomorrow is the last day and I know what you're thinking...well that only means 6 days and 6 cards. But I have two for you tomorrow since I didn't start on Sunday because I was on my way back from Fargo and the Miranda Lambert/Chris Young/Jerrod Niemann concert!

So here is today's card.

This card features my all time favorite punch! The Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch! It is so cool, it is 3 punches in one. The big flower without petals (the Wisteria Wonder layer of the lower right flower), the small flower without petals and an edge piece (the Island Indigo layer of the top left flower), and the small flower with petals and an edge piece (the Pool Party layer of the bottom left flower).

There's so much you can do with this punch...I know I'll be featuring it in different ways in future posts.
