Teeny Tiny Wishes Mother's Day cardstock

This card combines a couple of my favorites from Stampin' Up! The Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch is a punch that should be in every stamper and scrapbookers inventory!! And since it will be gone at the end of this month (if not sooner if it sells out), you better snatch it up if you want it! It can be used for so much!
The other favorite on this card is the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. If you are a beginner to cardmaking, this is definitely a stamp set that I recommend. It is one of the higher priced stamp sets from Stampin' Up! at $36.95, but you get 24 sentiments from i'm so sorry to For the Newlyweds to HAPPY GRADUATION to With Sympathy. It covers most holidays and big events and would be a great addition to your inventory.

Stamps: P.S. I Love You (frame around the sentiment) (clear mount and wood mount), Teeny Tiny Wishes, Bold Blossoms (retired)
Ink: Old Olive stamp pad, Wisteria Wonder stamp pad
Paper: Wisteria Wonder cardstock, Soft Suede cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Island Indigo cardstock, Pool Party cardstock, Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (Regal Rose)

This is such a fun card and can be used with so many other sentiments from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Blossom Bouquet Mother's Day Card

One of my favorite punches that Stampin' Up! has is the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch and sadly at the end of this month, it will be retired. Be sure to get it before it isn't available anymore, because it could sell out and be gone forever before the end of the month.
You have seen this punch used in a lot of cards on my blog and facebook page! It is such an awesome punch that can be used for so much!! Here's a Mother's Day card using it...

Curly Cute Happy Birthday

Happy Friday Everyone!!
It is day 5 of my birthday week. Tomorrow is the last day and I know what you're thinking...well that only means 6 days and 6 cards. But I have two for you tomorrow since I didn't start on Sunday because I was on my way back from Fargo and the Miranda Lambert/Chris Young/Jerrod Niemann concert!

So here is today's card.

This card features my all time favorite punch! The Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch! It is so cool, it is 3 punches in one. The big flower without petals (the Wisteria Wonder layer of the lower right flower), the small flower without petals and an edge piece (the Island Indigo layer of the top left flower), and the small flower with petals and an edge piece (the Pool Party layer of the bottom left flower).

There's so much you can do with this punch...I know I'll be featuring it in different ways in future posts.

Here's what you need for this card:
Stamps: Curly Cute (clear mount and wood mount)
Paper: Whisper White cardstock, and all of the 2011-2013 In Colors (Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, and Wisteria Wonder
Ink: Lucky Limeade Stamp Pad

I hope you like today's card. If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you. Please post them!

Day 3 of my birthday week!

Day 3! Wednesday!
Here's today's card.

Paper: Whisper White cardstock, Pool Party cardstock, So Saffron cardstock, Island Indigo cardstock
Ink: Pool Party Stampin' Write marker, Island Indigo Stampin' Write marker Hint: Color directly on the stamp. If it starts to dry before you get done, just blow hot air (like you're yawning, but exhale instead of inhale) onto the stamp. Be sure to hold the stamp down longer when you do it this way.

I'd love to hear any feedback and happy to answer any questions that you may have! Thanks for stopping by!

Handmade Family Christmas Gifts

My mom and I like to give handmade gifts to our family members at Christmas. She usually gives a beaded bookmark or a crocheted scarf or dish cloth. This year I knew I wanted to do something with my Stampin' Up! tools!

These are Easel Calendars. They use the promotional calendars that you stick to the dashboard of your car. which can be purchased online without the plastic adhesive part. They are rather inexpensive.

Here's a close up of a couple.

To make these you just take a 4" by 12" piece of cardstock and score it using Stampin' Up! Simply Scored tool at 4", 6", and 8".
Fold the cardstock on the score line at 6" so that the right sides (the side you want showing when finished) are together. Then fold on the score lines at 4" and 8" the other way.
If you want to add a ribbon to the top of the easel, slip the ribbon under the cardstock strip just before the score line at 4" and tie it in the front of the easel card. Then you can glue the front of the easel to the cardstock between the score line at 4" and 6".
You can also punch shapes out using a paper punch like I did with the flowers on top of the bright green glittered calendar. For the flowers I used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch from Stampin' Up! along with some of their glitter brads.
Design your easel card front however you want (the options are endless) and glue the calendar to the front.
To make it into an easel, place a button on a Stampin' Up! Dimensional or a brad on the cardstock about 2.5" from the score line at 8" or 1.5" from the edge of the cardstock. This is what you use to hold up the front of the easel card.
Pretty simple!!
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial and if you have any questions, be sure to leave a comment with your question!
Happy New Year!!
